John Winston Lennon, MBE (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) was an English musician and singer-songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as one of the founder members of The Beatles, one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music. With Paul McCartney, he formed one of the most celebrated songwriting partnerships of the 20th century. Born and raised in Liverpool, Lennon became involved as a teenager in the skiffle craze; his first band, The Quarrymen, evolved into The Beatles in 1960. As the group disintegrated towards the end of the decade, Lennon embarked on a solo career that produced the critically acclaimed albums John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and Imagine, and iconic songs such as "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine". After his marriage to Yoko Ono in 1969, he changed his name to John Ono Lennon. Lennon disengaged himself from the music business in 1975 to devote time to his infant son Sean, but re-emerged in 1980 with a new album, Double Fantasy. He was murdered three weeks after its release.
Lennon revealed a rebellious nature and acerbic wit in his music, writing, drawings, on film, and in interviews. Controversial through his political and peace activism, he moved to New York City in 1971, where his criticism of the Vietnam War resulted in a lengthy attempt by Richard Nixon's administration to deport him, while some of his songs were adopted as anthems by the anti-war movement.
As of 2012 Lennon's solo album sales in the United States exceed 14 million units, and as writer, co-writer or performer, he is responsible for 25 number-one singles on the US Hot 100 chart. In 2002 a BBC poll on the 100 Greatest Britons voted him eighth, and in 2008, Rolling Stone ranked him the fifth-greatest singer of all-time. He was posthumously inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

Terrence Stephen "Steve" McQueen (March 24, 1930 – November 7, 1980) was an American movie actor. He was nicknamed "The King of Cool." His "anti-hero" persona, which he developed at the height of the Vietnam counterculture, made him one of the top box-office draws of the 1960s and 1970s. He was an avid racer of both motorcycles and cars. While he studied acting, he supported himself partly by competing in weekend motorcycle races and bought his first motorcycle with his winnings. He is recognized for performing many of his own stunts, but one of the most widely claimed and cherished examples of this—that he did the majority of the stunt driving for his character during the high-speed chase scene in Bullitt—was revealed not to be true by his most trusted stuntman and stunt driver Loren James.

Flat Lenses for Flat Front Vintage Frames Made in 1940s-60s /
Almost all vintage Frames made before 1960s have totally flat front so we put flat lenses like the photos below. Curve Zero. Non-prescription lenses have 5.5 or 6 curve so they apparently don't fit the flat front frame.
40年代、50年代、60年代のフレームはフロントが完全にフラットなモノばかり。だからレンズもフラットで特注仕様。窓ガラスみたいに完全にフラット。カーブゼロ。
度無しレンズの場合5.5カーブとか6カーブとかあるのですが、それだとフレームに明らかにフィットしていなくて歪みを与えてしまい、僕たちは嫌なのでフラットレンズにしています。

RayBan products were made by B&L in USA since 1930s till 1999. Since 1999, RayBan brand has been managed by the Italian company LUXOTICA and made in Italy or China.
The Outdoorsman is very famous and one of the best sellers in Ray-Ban history. The RayBan's most standard Classic Metal plus the Brow Bar (a.k.a. the Sweat Bar) on the bridge.
This model is the special Leather version of Outdoorsman.

1990年代初頭アメリカ製のB&Lレイバン、トラピゾイド・ブレイスバー49mm。 トラピゾイドにブレイスバーが装着されているタイプ。ノーマルのトラピゾイドより一層男臭さを醸し出しています。そしてこんなメンズライクなデザインこそ女性に着用していただきたいです。 左右の両レンズに「BL」の砂打があり、右レンズにRay-Banの印字があるのは1981年〜1999年の間に作られた証。正真正銘アメリカ製ボシュロム・レイバン。
