The photos below are a piece of MAX PITTION made in 1940s, New Old Stock condition, never worn. But as you can see, they are not clean and have some scratches on the surface. And the hinges dull so much..

The photos below are the same piece after restoring by Tatsuya. Once he buffs and cleans a frame, it definitely become surprisingly beautiful and burnished.
